Alright, this will be a treat!!!!

Here is the deal. We now have where the final points race is one race before the season is over. That way, at the last race, we will know who the season long champions are, and to see who is in the running for our special event.

The last race will not be for points, but it will include the Showdown, and the 3rd Annual MN RC Dragway FINALS.

 So what is the Showdown??????

This is going to be a special race within a race!!!!!!!

We are going to take the top 8 in qualifying points from Bracket and Comp, as well as the top 4 from Top Sportsman and Funny Car, and set up a ladder. This ladder will be run during qualifying for the MN RC Dragway FINALS. Your first qualifying run for the MN RC Dragway FINALS will also be first round for the Showdown, the 2nd qualifying run will be round 2 of the showdown, and the final of the Showdown will be in the last qualifying round. There will be no B-side. Once you have lost, you just qualify with the rest of the group for the main race.

**Please note!!!!!!  This is a bonus event running in conjunction with the MN RC Dragway FINALS!!!!  The FINALS is an open event, open to everybody just like every other week. If you are not a part of the Showdown, you will qualify just like normal for the MN RC Dragway FINALS.

****Also, added for 2008- There will be 2 drops just like regular points! If a racer does not show up at the last race, the 1st alternate will be insereted.
